Ceremonies & Rites of Passage

My work supports women to meet the significant thresholds of their lives with awareness, integrity, and support.

Birth, menstruation, motherhood, menopause, grief, and loss are not isolated events, but part of a deeper pattern of initiation. They shape how you come to know yourself, your relationships, and your place in the world over time.

This brings together embodied, reflective practices grounded in the cyclical arc of women’s lives:

Maiden · Mother · Queen · Wisdom Keeper

It is rooted in the intelligence of the body, the depth of the human psyche, and the wider rhythms of the natural world.

A woman with curly blonde hair in a red patterned shirt appears to be playing a large drum or tambourine, which she is holding up to her face. She is in an indoor setting with white vertical blinds in the background. Several other people are partially visible in the foreground.

A woman in a red dress is standing, holding a drumstick, and looking down at a person lying on the floor dressed in colorful clothing with a headscarf. The person on the floor appears to be unconscious or asleep. The setting is an indoor room with furniture and artwork on the walls.

Ceremonies & Rites of Passage

Ceremonies for the thresholds of women’s lives—preparation, integration, and repair. Each ceremony is shaped in response to the person, the moment, and what’s needed.

HELD in Rhythm

One-to-one · Restorative bodywork and ceremony

A deeply held, one-to-one process. For integration, nervous system regulation and repair.

This work is not tied to a specific life event, but is available when the body has carried too much for too long—after birth, loss, illness, stress, or periods of overwhelm.

Through rhythmic, body-based work, the mind can settle and tensions release, allowing you return to a sense of safety and coherence.

Includes

  • Preparation and dialogue beforehand

  • A guided body-based process

  • Rebozo work and drumming

  • Deep rest and supported integration

  • Closing and integration guidance

Bespoke Rites of Passage

I create bespoke ceremonies to mark significant thresholds in a woman’s life.

These may include first menstruation, motherhood, menopause, grief and loss, separation, or other moments of transition that call for recognition and support.

Each ceremony is shaped in dialogue with you and, where appropriate, your community—drawing on personal story, symbolic elements, and meaningful forms of ritual to honour the passage from one life stage to the next.

This work is for those who want to mark a moment consciously, rather than be carried through it without acknowledgement.

Such ceremonies can become deeply meaningful acts of recognition, grounding, and care.

Format
In person · One-to-one or small group

By arrangement, from £450

Ceremony marks a threshold — so that change can be acknowledged, witnessed, and embodied.

From my clients

  • “Kristina creates far more than a ceremony; she creates a space where you can simply be.

From the moment I arrived, I felt deeply held, cared for and completely safe. The ceremony had begun long before I walked through the door. Every detail had been thoughtfully considered, from the fragrances and oils chosen specifically for my intention, to the beautiful blankets, music, organic treats and the gentle aftercare that followed.

This was my 45th birthday gift to myself and it felt like a genuine rite of passage. Through Kristina’s presence, intuition and care, I was able to surrender completely. At one point I felt cocooned, wrapped in layers of beautiful fabric, being gently rocked as though I were back in the womb. There was such a profound sense of safety, love and nurturing that I drifted into a deep state of relaxation and simply allowed myself to be held.

What makes Kristina so special is not just what she does, but how she does it. She listens deeply. She pays attention. She creates an environment where every detail feels intentional and where transformation can happen naturally, without force. I left feeling expanded, restored and deeply grateful.

More than anything, I felt held from the moment I arrived until the moment I left. It was one of the most beautiful gifts I have ever given myself, and I cannot recommend Kristina highly enough.”

  • “This week, I experienced Kristina’s Held in Rhythm offering, something unlike anything I have ever experienced before. As a midwife and a holder of women’s spaces through yoga, I often notice that there is a gap for me to be completely held and cared for. I have found a deep sense of trust in Kristina and her ability to gently guide and support me.

From the moment I walked into Kristina’s home, I was welcomed with the biggest hug after a hard day’s work, followed by nourishing herbal tea and the most gorgeous cherries. I instantly felt cared for.

Kristina recognised that I was feeling overwhelmed and not yet ready to receive deeply, so she allowed me the time and space to ground before the experience began. That intuition and sensitivity made me feel incredibly safe.

One of my favourite parts of the experience was choosing my own favourite scents from Kristina’s beautiful aromatherapy collection. Simply inhaling the oils helped me begin to relax. Kristina then intuitively massaged the oils into my body, allowing me to soften, settle, and ground before the wrapping began.

Being held and wrapped in the rebozos felt like receiving the biggest hug from the earth itself. I could have stayed there for hours. It brought a profound sense of relief, safety, and love. The room then filled with the vibrations and sounds of drums, rattles, and gentle humming. Being bathed in that sound is a moment I will carry with me forever.

As the experience came to a close, I was gently guided back into the room, where I was offered a beautiful floral tea, a nourishing snack, and the space to simply be.

Thank you, Kristina, for holding me through a time of challenge, change, and exhaustion. I truly felt held. ❤️🌹🌝”

  • “I have sat in circles and ceremonies with Kristina for ten years, both as an apprentice, colleague and recipient of her support, including in my own mother's blessings and postpartum ceremonies.

I have witnessed how thoroughly and professionally she prepares, experienced how deep her holding and healing is, and been inspired by how authentically and powerfully she conveys both ancient wisdom and human warmth.

She has my warmest recommendations to those of you looking for a serious and senior spaceholder where you can completely surrender and be held - through life's great transformations.”
