Ceremonies & Rites of Passage

My work supports women to meet the significant thresholds of their lives with awareness, integrity, and support.

Birth, menstruation, motherhood, menopause, grief, and loss are not isolated events, but part of a deeper pattern of initiation. They shape how you come to know yourself, your relationships, and your place in the world over time.

This brings together embodied, reflective practices grounded in the cyclical arc of women’s lives:

Maiden · Mother · Queen · Wisdom Keeper

It is rooted in the intelligence of the body, the depth of the human psyche, and the wider rhythms of the natural world.

A woman with curly blonde hair in a red patterned shirt appears to be playing a large drum or tambourine, which she is holding up to her face. She is in an indoor setting with white vertical blinds in the background. Several other people are partially visible in the foreground.
A person laying on a couch with a fluffy beige blanket, holding Christmas ornaments and decorations, with a smartphone nearby on the blanket and a writing utensil.
A woman in a red dress is standing, holding a drumstick, and looking down at a person lying on the floor dressed in colorful clothing with a headscarf. The person on the floor appears to be unconscious or asleep. The setting is an indoor room with furniture and artwork on the walls.

Ceremonies & Rites of Passage

Ceremonies for the thresholds of women’s lives—preparation, integration, and repair. Each ceremony is shaped in response to the person, the moment, and what’s needed.

Postpartum Ceremony

HELD in Rhythm

One-to-one · Restorative bodywork and ceremony

A deeply held, one-to-one process. For integration, nervous system regulation and repair.

This work is not tied to a specific life event, but is available when the body has carried too much for too long—after birth, loss, illness, stress, or periods of overwhelm.

Through rhythmic, body-based work, the mind can settle and tensions release, allowing you return to a sense of safety and coherence.

Includes

  • Preparation and dialogue beforehand

  • A guided body-based process

  • Rebozo work and drumming

  • Deep rest and supported integration

  • Closing and integration guidance

In person · One-to-one

Bespoke Rites of Passage

I create bespoke ceremonies to mark significant thresholds in a woman’s life.

These may include first menstruation, motherhood, menopause, grief and loss, separation, or other moments of transition that call for recognition and support.

Each ceremony is shaped in dialogue with you and, where appropriate, your community—drawing on personal story, symbolic elements, and meaningful forms of ritual to honour the passage from one life stage to the next.

This work is for those who want to mark a moment consciously, rather than be carried through it without acknowledgement.

Such ceremonies can become deeply meaningful acts of recognition, grounding, and care.

In person · One-to-one or small group

Ceremony marks a threshold — so that change can be acknowledged, witnessed, and embodied.
